April 2005

After the extremely funny Richard Simmons appearance on Whose Line Is That Anyway? a few months back, I am not surprised to find myself instantly downloading WLITA’s episode which guest stars Robin Williams! I looooooove Robin Williams. His first performance, which I could clearly remember was Dead Poet’s Society. What is there not to like about his character? Witty, intellectual and humorous.

The first film that I saw him in was Popeye! I didnt know that the young chap who played the title character was Robin Williams. I bet I am going to get loads of laugh out of this one.

Alex Ross Motivation

It’s a sad thing to admit… but yes, I feel like a girl sometimes. When I am feeling a bit down, or unfocused, I tend to shop for comics. Yes… I have been trying hard to clam down on my unhealthy (financially) habit. But I really do need motivation to compete for the Charest competition I mentioned a few weeks ago.

While waiting for my sis to arrive at KLIA, I went to the Mind Shop. I saw this beautiful Alex Ross graphic novel. Hey, it looked cheap and worth the price for me. This had a USD10 price tag and was only selling for RM35. I grabbed it. And it was worth it… 96 pages of beautifully painted pictures of DC superheroes. :)

Ahhhhhh….

Numbers

Something I learnt today… another example of God’s sovereignty. Curses and blessings are God’s to impart and administer. A person will not be cursed unless God allows it to. Likewise blessings. Balak wanted Balaam to curse God’s people, but God answered that curses are His to administer and NOONE can do it unless God allows it (Numbers 23).

Surely this is an assurance that what ever happens, God has planned for it from eternity.
