a hobby
I remember how enjoyable it was to paint during my secondary school days. I am surprised to hear that not many KL students actually enrol themselves to art classes for their Form one to Form three schooling years.
Anyway, it was always a relaxing thing to do since I really do enjoy art in its various forms. I went to Mrs. Tan Yong, a lady in her 50’s, who liked using the thick painting method (associated more to the western style) rather than the water colour (fading technique).
Well, recently I bought a couple of Buncho poster colors (the same ones we used in school) and 2 brushes and an art block. Yes, I have finished 1/2 a drawing in paint. I have to admit that I still suck in colouring real-life figures. But, it seems okay….
heheheheheh… can you believe I spent an hour last night pouring sweat over art???????
